The music department at Kipps Elementary School is based on the practices of Orff-Schulwerk - a child centered way to teach and learn music. Students sing, say, move, and play during each music lesson; each class has music once a week for 45 minutes. Students also explore, imitate, improvise, listen, and compose music throughout the year.
